This is wonderful news and will you guys please mail this news to union health minister A Ramadoss please? I just can't tolerate people smoking in house. The government should give us power to sue all smokers in India too.

Absolute misuse of legal powers it is. People are free to do whatever they want to do in their houses. And you Indian guy, who is asking to make it law in your country, do you have any idea about the implementation of other laws in your country? Do you know about the pollution level on the streets of Delhi and Mumbai?

To smoke or not to smoke, it is a personal decision. I am a chain smoker and I have no problem in it. BUT I do not smoke in house and while playing with children. I know smoking is bad but no one can sue me for smoking.

Life today is always in danger. My house can go in fire due to my careless habit of cooking than from smoking. The world is full of danger. We cannot just ban everything in life. Leave it on people to decide what is good or bad for their health.

This is not a question of personal choice at all when you are making others' life hell. I left my apartment and bought new one because that building was filled with smokers almost everywhere. Smoke was coming to our rooms through the vents and we were left with headaches. If they have right to smoke, we have the right to live in a clean environment.
